iPad interview in The Vancouver Sun
Today Vancouver Sun got a great article about Apple’s iPad and the many iPad/iPhone developers in BC. I am proud to say that the article features a photo of me and my iPad. The picture was taken at the great trade show F5-Expo Refreshing Business Strategies held today in Vancouver .

Hi,
Just wondering what the difference is between your iPhone course (MDIA 2652) and the COMP 3906 course also taught at BCIT? Thanks.

Paul,
I can tell you that MDIA 2652 is held in a classroom equipped with iMacs in the Downtown Vancouver campus, wile the other course requires that you use your own Intel based Mac, and it is held at the Burnaby BCIT campus.
The MDIA 2652 course has a technical portion, but we are focused on providing a holistic approach so we present a variety of related issues: the logistics of setting up iPhone/iPad development with Apple, business planning and market research, UI design, game design, etc. The majority of the students have a technical background, and they should have some previous programming experience to fully benefit from this course.
I cannot tell you much about the other course though…
